10 Most Unstable WWE Superstars Ever

6. "Macho Man" Randy Savage

The Macho Man is one of the most popular Superstars of all-time. He is an industry icon who is as recognizable outside of the pro wrestling industry as he is in it and whose influence is felt today, thanks to efforts by CM Punk, Jay Lethal and countless others to keep his memory alive. His matches with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and The Ultimate Warrior are the stuff of legend, his Intercontinental Championship match against Ricky Steamboat is easily one of the greatest and most defining matches in the history of the sport and his persona is unmatched in the annals of World Wrestling Entertainment. Hero to many, idol to most, Savage was the go-to man when Vince McMahon needed a quality match at the top of the card. As great as he was, as captivating a performer as he proved to be, there is no denying that he was crazy. He was off-his-rocker nuts, the type of insane that eventually becomes cool. "Macho Madness" took the world by storm. Savage would cut some of the most illogical, incomprehensible promos known to man but his deliver was so spot on that fans had no choice but to sit up and take note. What he said made no sense but it sure did sound cool! With the eyes of a madman and enough adrenaline coursing through his body to revive 90 dying bulls, Savage would take to the ring and unleash his trademark madness on whichever Superstar was unlucky enough to oppose him. It was that driving insanity that led him to two WWE Championships and countless other accomplishments across both WWE and World Championship Wrestling, the company he finished out his Hall of Fame-worthy career with.
