10 Most Unstable WWE Superstars Ever

5. AJ Lee

There is still a whole bunch of crazy left to come in current Divas champion's AJ Lee's career but thus far, she has laid the foundation to one day climb even further up this list. Beginning in 2012, she underwent a character makeover. Gone was the innocent gamer chick with an appreciation for comic books and all things nerd. In its place was a damaged young woman, humiliated, embarrassed and shamed by a one-way relationship with Daniel Bryan. She was crushed emotionally and her psyche was irreparably damaged by the verbal and mental abuse she endured at the hands of the then-World Heavyweight champion. When she finally discovered her intestinal fortitude, she set out on a journey that culminated with her becoming the top female performer in the entire industry, the biggest breakthrough performer on the women's side of the roster since Vickie Guerrero and Stephanie McMahon. She even became general manager of Raw. But the beauty of AJ's insanity came in the way she was able to manipulate the top stars on the roster for months on end. The aforementioned Bryan, CM Punk, Kane, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler all felt the brunt of AJ's insanity. She toyed with their lives, costing them key victories and contributing to their downfalls. In fact, Bryan and Kane both were removed from the main event title picture and forged a partnership as a comedic duo. Punk nearly saw his title reign come to an end in a Triple Threat match booked by the petite brunette and Cena and Ziggler feuded with each other in the winter of 2012 as a result of a perceived relationship between the leader of the Cenation and AJ. She was manipulative, cunning and prone to outbursts of anger when things did not go according to plan. She was dangerous, something every man and woman, including former best friend Kaitlyn, found out first-hand. Even today, her actions keep many off-guard, including NXT and WWE Diva Paige, who has seen both of her Divas title reigns come to an end at the hands of WWE's resident Black Widow.
