This list has already discussed how baseball stadiums are strange places for wrestling shows. Even stranger, though, are baseball stadiums in the middle of torrential downpours.

In 1985, the WWF hosted a show in San Juan, Puerto Rico's Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Named after the first Puerto Rican baseball player to play in MLB, the stadium is home to the Cangrejeros de Santurce and holds more than 18,000 fans. It's also hosted a number of concerts, featuring such superstars as The Jackson Five and Whitney Houston.

The WWF's show took place on October 19, and while the talent was there - stars like Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat - the weather wasn't. A deluge drenched the open-air stadium, making the ring so wet that the wrestlers couldn't even move properly. Nobody was hurt, but there was a ton of slipping, sliding, and splashing, making for a very memorable show for all the wrong reasons.

According to WrestleCrap's writeup on the show, San Juan averages 18 days of rain each October.

Someone probably should have done a little research before booking the event outdoors.
