10 Most Violent AEW Wrestling Matches So Far

9. Jimmy Havoc Vs. Darby Allin Vs. Joey Janela (Cracker Barrel Clash)

Sticking with the All Out theme, last year's Cracker Barrel Clash between Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin, and Joey Janela was as barbaric as you'd imagine when you consider the three involved. That the match literally began with Havoc using a staple gun on himself says it all, really.

Even though it was essentially a product placement advertisement for the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, that didn't take anything away from the match. In fact, the use of the barrels later on in the match added a whole new depth of anarchy to the bout. The bump Darby took with a failed attempt at a barrel-assisted Coffin Drop atop the steel ring steps is still as disgusting to watch now as it was when it originally happened.

Alongside this was Havoc being taped to a chair and fed thumbtacks, while Janela crashed through a barrel not once, but twice - the second of those bumps was off of an Acid Rainmaker while his back was still covered in tacks. Nasty.

When you think of matches from AEW's short, yet storied past, this is one that doesn't always get the recognition it deserves. In terms of sheer violence, though, this one needs to be brought up.
