4. Cody Vs. Mr. Brodie Lee (Dog Collar Match)
As you can see from this list, there's a bit of a theme developing in the sense that whenever Cody Rhodes has a violent encounter in AEW, it's always noteworthy. We very well could have made an entire list out of Rhodes' barbaric bouts alone, but that's a different list for a different day.
His TNT Championship rematch against 'The Exalted One' of The Dark Order was always going to be enjoyable, considering the shock value of their original clash, but what actually came from the duo the second time around was mesmerising.
What made for a nice touch here was that Brodie Lee dominated the former champion for a good chunk of time at the beginning of the match, a callback to their previous outing. Between choking 'The American Nightmare' with the chain, slamming him face-first on the ring apron, the Dark Order member was, yet again, a force to be reckoned with opposite Cody, who, yet again, left with a blood-soaked face (as did Lee).
Like the Steel Cage Match, AEW have only promoted a single Dog Collar Match in their history thus far. Considering how tremendously received Cody and Mr. Brodie Lee's showdown was, though, you can bet good money to see the stipulation brought back again.
