10 Most Violent Matches In WrestleMania History

5. Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels Vs Chris Benoit - (WrestleMania 20)

Obviously, there are so many emotions when it comes to this match, the competitors, and the result. If you take away the personal feelings about it, the match was a fantastic piece of drama, and the added blood helped to take it to the next level. Before the Michaels blade job, the match was already very physical. Triple H and Shawn Michaels liked to work extra physical against each other, and the addition of Chris Benoit only meant plenty more "ruthless aggression". By the time Triple H started bleeding, as well, the match had already become the hardest hitting main event in WrestleMania history to that point. The frenzied Madison Square Garden crowd seemed to be pushing for more violence, almost willing the three men along. Even without the blood, this match would be a very strong candidate for a list like this. Benoit was the perfect choice as the third man here. He forced the other two men to step their games up, or else they would have been left behind and look bad.
