10 Movies Starring Wrestlers In 2016

10. Term Life

Wait, wasn't this supposed to come out two whole years ago? Yes, Term Life, a WWE Studios/Universal offering based on the graphic novel of the same name, is in the can, with production having wrapped on April 22nd 2014. Since that time, the movie has just kind of been sitting there. So what gives? Are WWE/Universal going to finally release the film or not? Well, according to IMDb, it is slated for release this year. And no, this isn't your typical WWE Studios fare about a rogue ice cream vender who must help free his family from the terrorists before the president is shot and aliens take over the world (I assume that's what they're all about). It is, by all accounts, a serious film with serious actors. Serious actors like Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau (Swingers reunion FTW), Bill Paxton, Hailee Steinfield and...Chris Jericho. Indeed, the film is being partly produced by Vince McMahon so that means at least one lycra-wearing bone-bender has to have a role, a role which will undoubtedly be a small one (Chris Jericho invented acting, by the way). Term Life is being directed by Peter Billingsly, who was also at the helm on another Vince Vaughn picture, Couple's Retreat. So, yay for that. Keep an eye out for Y2J's appearance and make sure not to blink. You might just miss it.
