7. Diesel

He never did massive business at the box office, but Bid Daddy Cool Diesel was one of the most loved WWF stars of the mid 90's. He was WWF Champion and part of 'The Two Dudes With Attitude' with Shawn Michaels. Kids thought he was cool. But just a few years later, Diesel rebranded as Kevin Nash and jumped to WCW to head up the NWO. His heel act was initially the kind of heel heat he would have wanted, albeit cool heel heat. But by 1999, it wasn't even heel heat. Fans just hated him. They found him boring and saw him for what he really was - a money grabbing charlatan who only cared about himself. Amazingly WCW made him booker, only for him to then book himself to end Bill Goldberg's undefeated streak. That fervent hatred has only got worse. Multiple comebacks to the WWE were met with groans. He's at the point he even admits now that he was just a businessman after paydays.
