10 Much Loved WWE Superstars Who Ended Up Despised
6. Mick Foley
Once much loved for his lighthearted character that contrasted perfectly with his brutal hardcore efforts, Mick Foley was one of the biggest stars in WWF's Attitude Era. How could you not love the guy, he'd literally put his body on the line for you. But in the years after his retirement, Foley displayed a bitterness about his career. It was as if he felt entitled to something more after years of putting his body on the line. The thing is, Foley's bitterness manifested itself in a really unsettling way. He began a habit of criticism to the WWE that wasn't always fair. Not just brief criticism either, but lengthy rants that bordered on weird. He also started having petty tantrums like in 2013 when he posted bitter tweets about the placement of his slot in the Hall Of Fame show. For his outspoken rants on WWE, many fans can't stand the guy. He has been unable to move on gracefully from once being the big star to now being just a retired wrestler.
