Pitting Raven, Stevie Richards and Brian Lee opposite The Sandman, Terry Gordy and Tommy Dreamer may not sound like a recipe for success, but the headline bout of the Heatwave 1996 show was quite the madcap spectacle. Sure, nobody is going to claim this is a technical wrestling classic, but it does sum up perfectly exactly what people could expect from an ECW show.
