4. Block B: El Lindaman Vs DOUKI
Taking place on 17th May in Yamagata, the first night of Block B will be an exciting evening of must-watch matches, with two making this list. We will get to see two hard-hitting high flyers do battle and if their tag team battles are anything to go by, expect lots of death-defying leaps, edge of your seat action, and fast-paced wrestling.
El Lindaman is the current G-REX Champion and if he looks familiar to western fans that might be because of his appearances on AEW alongside Strong Hearts teammates Cima and T-Hawk. Lindaman was trained in the Dragon Gate Dojo and has wrestled all over Japan, at just 28 years old he is one of the fastest rising stars in the scene. Holding championships in every promotion he has performed in, and now being the inaugural G-REX champion in GLEAT, it will be a matter of time before he strikes gold in New Japan.
DOUKI, who spoiler appears on this list again, has been an absolute treat and also a fan favorite especially amongst Japanese children since his debut in New Japan. He was trained by Jorge Rivera and Ultimo Dragon spending most of his career in Mexico until returning to Japan in 2015.
