https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3KJdZRTBY0 Some dark matches are interesting because they show the old gimmicks and ring attire wrestlers used in developmental, before they were completely repackaged to go debut on the main roster. Often a wrestler will look completely different from their developmental stint in contrast to their finalized gimmick - in the case of Dinsmore and Leviathan, that's a fair statement. Who are Leviathan and Dinsmore? Well, Leviathan is the name of the pseudo-satantic gimmick given to 4-time World Heavyweight Champion Dave Bautista in his time at Ohio Valley Wrestling. Nicholas Dinsmore is the real name of former WWE talent and trainer most well-known as Eugene. The dark match shows the monstrous Leviathan squash the smaller, more technical Dinsmore in under 6 minutes, much to the joy of the crowd. Leviathan would wrestle more dark matches in 2001 and the following year, until finally debuting as Deacon Batista in May, 2002. Dinsmore would stay in OVW until 2004, before being stuck with the obnoxious Eugene gimmick on Raw.
