Talking Smack has regularly offered one of the week's most must-see moments. It shines particularly bright when someone takes their figurative gloves off and tears into somebody verbally in a worked shoot format. This week on the post-SmackDown program, both AJ Styles and Baron Corbin were fired up enough to repeat some of what Miz utilized a couple of months ago to first highlight the show as can't-miss: they targeted Daniel Bryan.

Styles, annoyed and frustrated at the antics of Dean Ambrose, accused Bryan of becoming the very authority that he once fought so hard against. Corbin laid it in even thicker, attacking the method that the likes of Bryan (and even Styles) utilized to get to WWE, citing specifically the toll that it took on their bodies which shortened the overall scope of their career impacts. It was one of the first nights of Corbin's WWE main roster tenure where he was given the chance to make people genuinely dislike him. "I made one phone call to get here," he said. That was a perfect line. He crafted a despicable character in NXT and he showed how well it could work to an expanded viewership on Tuesday night.
