1. Women's Match Main-Events Raw For First Time In 12 Years

Time is an important element for historical contextualisation.

The much-ballyhooed Raw main-event between Trish Stratus and Lita in 2004 proved to merely be a moment in time rather than a force for change. When the Stratus-Lita rivalry ended two years later, women's wrestling regressed to levels that many hoped the Hall of Fame generation of Divas had ended with their rise to respectability in the early-to-mid-2000s. Unfortunately, it was not until AJ Lee became face of the division in 2013 did the tailspin that women's wrestling had begun falling into back in late 2006 finally end.

Sasha Banks and Charlotte, integral players in the Women's Revolution, earned the main-event of Raw this week, becoming the first females to wrestle in the final spot on the show in 12 years. This time around, it feels historically different. Though it was not the best match that Banks and Charlotte had ever had together, it was the best match of the week and it was emotionally gripping in a manner on par with recent matches that closed Raw with the men's Universal Championship on the line.

This time around, it feels like a stepping stone to something even greater.
