10 Mysteries WWE Never Explained
1. CM Punk's McMahon-Related Exposé
Everyone remembers CM Punk's blistering "pipebomb promo" from the 27 June 2011 edition of Raw. It's timeless stuff, and helped elevate Punk to new heights as a WWE headliner. That same outspoken personality would become his legacy. Not many recall what else he teased in among all the corporate bashing.
Punk said he'd expose something foul about the real Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
He also baited fans by talking about WWE's 'Be A Star' anti-bullying campaign before his microphone was cut off and the show ended. Whatever Punk was going to tell people about Vince, he promptly forgot all about it and instead favoured taunting John Cena for being an inferior pro wrestler to him.
Bullying, McMahon and whatever the exposé was were all left behind in the ensuing sprint towards Money In The Bank. Exactly what Punk wanted to say about Vince remains a mystery. Perhaps he'll dish the dirt on Backstage.
