7. Sasha Heel Turn

Sticking with the theme of Sasha Banks and her likely WWE Women’s Championship win, another option for her post-SummerSlam plans - and a personal favourite of mine - would be to turn her heel.

I’m not usually one to call for unnecessary heel turns, but in a lot of ways the timing would be perfect for this one, not least because there’s a readymade challenger in Bayley just waiting to be called into play.

Bayley did indeed make her main roster debut alongside Banks at Battleground, although commentary made it clear that this was a one-off arrangement that came as a result of Bayley’s history with her partner and Charlotte. But once she’s got her proverbial affairs in order down in NXT, expect to see her on the main roster and at the front of that queue challenging for Banks’ title.

Of course, I’m not saying that Banks vs. Bayley wouldn’t work as a face vs face feud, it just seems like a more natural fit this way. Besides, Banks’ Boss gimmick is far better-suited to being that of an arrogant heel champion than a plucky babyface.

For me, in light of Battleground, they’d be wise to not only book Banks vs Charlotte or SummerSlam, but to begin laying the foundations for a potential Banks heel turn and feud with the hugger.
