8. Braun Strowman Moving Up The Card

Omos was pretty much dominant until Braun Strowman hit his powerslam for the win. Seriously, that was like...one of the only moves Braun got in on the big(ger) guy, which was slightly surprising. Credit where it's due: WWE somehow managed to sidestep the whole booking into a corner worry by delivering here.

Was it a technical marvel? Nah, but anyone who thought it would be is a fool. This was a throwback to musclebound tussles of the past, and it was better than expected. Now, after hammering Braun for 99% of the match, Omos will be fine going forwards. Meanwhile, Strowman will move up the card.

This writer can actually see the big dude taking Austin Theory's Money In The Bank briefcase away from him and holding it for a few months. WWE might reason that Braun would be a fine place-holding opponent for Roman Reigns during the early months of 2023.

Just a thought, 'cause it doesn't look like Hunter fancies Theory.
