WWE's latest attempts to make Big Cass a credible heel haven't been a major success. In fact, Cass's only purpose was to give the returning Daniel Bryan a decent feud, and he's struggled to convince fans of his menace when doing that high-pitched promo voice or beating up midgets.

Following Bryan's second pay-per-view win over Cass at Money In The Bank, it's time for the single most cherished babyface in the entire company to move on.

Bryan's story is crying out for a strong counterpoint that doesn't rely on the big man, little man formula his feud with Cass did. Now that's been done, WWE should focus on giving Daniel a similar-sized opponent he can work great matches with, not someone he blatantly has to carry.

Shinsuke Nakamura, fresh off losing yet another WWE Title match, sounds like a safe bet. Alternatively, someone like The Miz is still waiting in the wings for that big blowoff to prior issues with Bryan. Both are appealing rivalries.
