10 New Directions After WWE Money In The Bank 2018
5. Seth Rollins Feuding With Dean Ambrose?
Now that Seth Rollins has ploughed through his mini-feud with Elias, WWE have a decision to make on his next story.
Does Rollins take the Intercontinental Title, claim it's on par with Brock Lesnar's Universal Title and enter the main event pack? Probably not, if only because WWE seem happy with Seth's work as a mid card workhorse. There's a much more realistic scenario, albeit one that hinges on how fit Dean Ambrose is post-triceps tear.
There should be a question mark against a Rollins vs. Ambrose feud, no doubt; when Dean went down with injury in December, reports stated he'd be out of action for around nine months. That could potentially rule him out of SummerSlam, but it wouldn't be uncharacteristic for someone with Dean's mental toughness to return earlier than expected.
If he does, Rollins is waiting to facilitate an Ambrose heel turn and lead to a bumper showdown on pay-per-view over the next few months. Dean will need an edge when he does come back, and opposing the wildly popular Seth would give him that.
