3. AJ Styles Vs. Samoa Joe?

Samoa Joe has (briefly) stuck his nose into AJ's business with Shinsuke Nakamura over the past few months, and it did come across like WWE were testing the waters when he interrupted AJ's promo on the 1 May episode of SmackDown.

Right there and then, fans who had followed both since their ROH and TNA days started to get excited at the prospect of Joe vs. Styles in WWE.

It's bound to happen at some point, so why not make this dream match for the top title at Extreme Rules and/or SummerSlam? Joe has become a powerhouse on the mic since joining the company, and he's someone AJ knows better than most. Some verbal sparring would give the match context for newer WWE fans, and these old friends would be determined to tear the house down.

Imagine how inspired Styles and Joe would be if WWE gave them 25 good minutes on a show as meaningful as SummerSlam. That's a dream scenario, and it'd be cruel for SmackDown's writers to tease such a match without delivering when AJ is still champ.
