10 New Directions For AEW After All In 2023

4. CM Punk Challenging For Everything

Stories and reports of CM Punk's backstage behaviour are more provocative than his own TV output lately. Sure, that match vs. Samoa Joe at Wembley was a thrill for fans in the crowd, but most people thirst for juicy gossip behind the scenes instead. Then, there are those who have long-since grown tired of mad Phil the salty veteran.

One thing's for sure though: Punk ain't going anywhere. Tony stuck by him throughout all of that beef with The Elite, and even launched a new show to accommodate all those egos flying around the place. Going forwards, it'd be logical if Punk tried to trade his "Real World Championship' for the belt MJF carries.

They can't co-exist forever, y'know.

A match between both guys doesn't need to happen again at All Out, but it would make sense if an angry Punk cut a promo in Chicago and announced his intentions. After all, Illinois might be one of the only places on the map he'll get cheered these days.
