5. More Matches Just Like That!

Wrestling has naturally moved away from being a size-obsessed industry, but there’s still room for athletic big men kicking the sh*t out of each other. Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs proved that by working a power-based scorcher that the live crowd really appreciated.

There was even time for a Arnie superfan-pleasing, 'Dillon, you son of a bitch!' handshake post-match.

AEW's product could use a few more matches as straightforward as this one, because it was so fun to watch, and even played before loud “SLAP THAT MEAT!” chants from the Chicago fans. They enjoyed what they were seeing, and the bout was better for both guys keeping things simple and playing to their strengths.

Shawn Stasiak’s ears must’ve been burning with all those “Meat” and “Meat Forever” chants, by the way.

Seriously though, this is the kind of match All Elite doesn't showcase enough. There's room for flips and spot after spot highlight reels, but sometimes all you need is to see two burly blokes acting like peak NXT-era Keith Lee.
