The man’s money.

No, not Don Callis. Well, Don too, but Konosuke Takeshita has been a real breakout star waiting to happen for a good while. All Out was a landmark night for him, 'cause the guy scored a singles win over one of the biggest stars in the entire company. He pinned Kenny Omega in a multi-man at All In, then did so here one-on-one.

It's worth pointing out that there's a bit more room at the top of the roster now CM Punk is gone. Someone's gonna have to fill that spot, and why not Konosuke? The fact he's heating up and ready to explode is a good thing for Tony Khan - and ol' Tony needed some more good news.

Takeshita and Callis were such a smart, smart pairing when they were put together. Together, Konosuke and Kenny had one hell of a match, and Takeshita left Chicago a bigger deal than he was going in. Time to mega-push this dude.
