JR: "Has someone turned over a new, darker leaf?".

The iconic commentator nailed the story being told with that one line, then followed it up by adding: "I think that answers our question" after Jack Perry's vicious conchairto on Christian Cage. AEW was painting in broad strokes here, and rightly so. Now, they can finally move on from "Jungle Boy".

No, don't be sad. This had to happen. The harder edge Jack has shown throughout his feud with Cage shows he's ready to properly move on from the JB moniker/vibe towards something more aggressive. Sure, he couldn't done that win or lose at Revolution, but the win puts some steam on him.

Going forwards, Perry's main goal should be to maintain his current aggression and downplay the Jungle stuff. Hell, change his popular entrance track to something a little meaner if you have to, and keep that jeans with cowboy boots look. It's a winner.
