2. The Match Bobby Lashley Wanted

WWE are running out of excuses.

Bobby Lashley has been campaigning for a match vs. Brock Lesnar for ages now, but it never seemed like something the E wanted to do. Or, maybe they were just holding off for the right moment. 2022 is the right year, and big Bob's time is finally here.

It's a big man vs. big man battle that Vinnie Mac daydreams about anyway. At Day 1, Lashley speared Brock through the security barricade and scored a convincing near fall on him after blasting the champ-to-be with a spear. Basically, Bobby got to look ridiculously strong against the next WWE Champion. That's a good sign.

Who knows if Vince thinks it's 'Mania-worthy, but Lashley vs. Lesnar would sell as a pay-per-view main event generally. Those February and March events, whatever they end up being, could surely use something this big time to help give them some spotlight and meaning heading into WrestleMania.
