10 New Directions For WWE After Hell In A Cell 2018
1. Brock Lesnar As A Vigilante
Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar can war with everyone.
Lesnar had a stripped back menace to him on Sunday night. Gone was the town-specific 'Suplex City' t-shirt, and he'd noticeably shed some pounds and grown out some facial hair for the occasion. Brock was all business, kicking in cage doors and ruining Raw's marquee Universal Title main event.
He was there to send a message, not to help either Braun Strowman or Roman Reigns win. The whole thing reeked of Steve Austin in his prime. No friends, only enemies, and an ass-kicking aura to be proud of. That was Lesnar at HIAC. More than ever before, he was a straight up vigilante and devoid of the prima donna histrionics he'd shown during his latest WWE appearances.
There was no Diva-like demands, zero pomp and circumstance and barely any hyperbole from walking, talking hype merchant Paul Heyman. Going forward, does this mean that Brock will be a streamlined version of his 'Beast' character?
Fingers crossed. That'd bring out the best in him.
