10 New Directions For WWE After King And Queen Of The Ring 2024

6. Money In The Bank Build

Clash At The Castle is next up on PLE in mid-June, but it's only a hop, skip and a jump to Money In The Bank after that. WWE's latest-ladder based briefcase gimmick takes place on 6 July. Oh yes, it's that time again. Someone on the male and female sides will be carting those cases around teasing cash-ins before anyone can say, 'Eh, this gimmick probs needs a rest'.

Creative will almost certainly book a few qualifying matches on TV to help episodes of Raw and SmackDown ease through June. There's nothing gimmicky about Clash over in Scotland, which means a significant chunk of match focus can go on filling out the fields for both the men's and women's MITB matches.

It's easy television, y'know?

WWE will have either six or seven (it varies) spots to determine on each side, which means they can look forward to no less than 12-14 simple bouts on TV over the next month and change. That is, of course, unless they just announce the lineups without qualifiers.
