Last night marked the first time Roman Reigns has taken a clean pinfall in singles competition since a 2012 loss to Adam Rose in FCW.

Yes, really.

It’s almost insane to comprehend that fact given that Reigns is closing in on four active years on the main roster, but is it a sign that WWE are finally ready to abandon Reigns’ invincibility aura?

It’s definitely a step in the right direction. Reigns finds himself in a completely unfamiliar position after suffering a clean loss that was all his own doing. Yes, there was a referee bump beforehand, but it was caused by Reigns’ misplaced spear: no shenanigans, no interference. Nothing.
