2. Dean Ambrose Is Finally "The Guy"

There had been a growing sense of trepidation among WWE fans that Dean Ambrose may never get this opportunity. From his often clown-like persona to his seemingly chronic inability to win on pay-per-view, Ambrose seemed doomed to an eternity playing the main event scene’s underdog role, never quite following-through on his popularity by winning the belt.

That all changed last night.

Ambrose’s PPV stigma is all but gone now that he’s the champ, and WWE gave us what will surely go down as one of the decade’s most iconic moments: all three Shield members holding the belt within minutes of each other, but the show going off-the-air with it in The Lunatic Fringe's possession.

Ambrose has long suffered from inconsistent booking and nonsensical character development throughout his run, but by putting the WWE World Heavyweight Title around his waist, it appears that WWE finally share the fans’ enormous faith in him.
