10 New Directions For WWE After Royal Rumble 2022

1. Brock Lesnar Picks Roman Reigns

Decision time. Do WWE book Brock Lesnar as a ticked-off, humbled bad ass who wants revenge on Bobby Lashley for the Rumble? Or, do they wrap up his story with Roman Reigns by having Brock keep Bob on the back burner as he goes after the Universal Title instead?

Everyone's money should be on the latter.

The biggest question hanging over chapter #3,492 of Brock vs. Roman is who plays heel; Reigns was the frontrunner until Paul Heyman left him high and dry. Now, who knows? Lesnar received a babyface reaction at the Rumble, and it's kinda hard to hate someone who wrecks shop like he does.

FOX will be the big winners here. They're about to get Brock on SmackDown a lot more during the build towards 'Mania, and that has to please station bigwigs. On Raw (which Lesnar is advertised for), he'll almost certainly announce that he wants to challenge Roman again.
