10 New Directions For WWE After Royal Rumble 2024

4. Bayley Challenging IYO SKY

Pre-Rumble, Bayley vowed to win the match then beat Rhea Ripley for her title so Damage CTRL erm...controlled multiple belts. It'd be a massive shocker if Triple H's creative team went down that route. Instead, the more likely outcome is IYO SKY seeing Bayley as a threat and launching into a feud.

Damage CTRL is about to implode.

That's been bubbling away nicely for a while now anyway, and there's evidence from Saturday to suggest WWE fans will embrace Bayley as a spirited babyface again. She's long overdue another go-around on the face side of the fence after years of effectively playing an overbearing heel who slid comfortably into a background role next to IYO, Dakota Kai and others.

Bayley will have something to prove to her CTRL stablemates between now and 'Mania. They've been dismissive towards her for months now, and that's only going to end one way. The hugger might not be coming back, but Bayley is about to get a whole lot more lovable again.
