Speaking of WCW, it's crazy that nWo merch still sells and the offshoot LWO is currently part of programming in 2023. World Championship Wrestling's influence lives on in modern-day WWE, but the Latino aspect might be set for the old heave ho. That'll be Santos Escobar's doing rather soon.

Let's be frank about something: The real meat of Santos gunning down Rey Mysterio isn't the rest of the LWO faction. No offence intended to Zelina Vega or anyone else, but they're not the focal points to this feud and never will be. So, to streamline things, WWE may have Escobar cut through Carlito then end the LWO permanently.

There's probably a few more t-shirts to sell before LWO vanishes completely, but it can't hang over Santos vs. Rey when that really gets going. The faction served its purpose, and now it's time for Escobar to kill what he helped recreate.
