WWE has almost-certainly moved GUNTHER to Raw because they've got long-term hopes he'll turn into a main-eventer. The current Intercontinental Champion has been a sensation on SmackDown, and there's no reason to suggest he'll be anything other than a rip-roaring success on the flagship too.

Don't be stunned if GUNTHER's now-iconic IC Title run comes to a satisfying end (choosing the right successor will be critical), then he sets his sights on that new World Heavyweight Championship. A no-frills wrestling machine with old-school splashes is perfect for that title, and you're guaranteed amazing matches from the Imperium leader at the top table as well.

GUNTHER was drafted from SmackDown to Raw in a bid to get him away from the glass ceiling a Roman Reigns-led brand creates. He can now experience the upwards trajectory his staggering form deserves, and take some more flesh off Cody Rhodes' chest with those chops whilst he's at it.
