10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 40

2. The Rock = Roman’s Final Boss

This is going to happen eventually. It was always written in the stars.

The Rock will point to Roman's errant spear on night one, then question why Reigns couldn't beat Cody Rhodes despite all of his and the rest of The Bloodline's help. That's when Rocky will reveal that his 'Final Boss' nickname is actually linked to Roman - he's the 'Chief's' ultimate challenge.

A lot of people reckon WWE will line this up soon then sit on the match until WrestleMania 41. That's hardly new territory for The Rock; he lined up bouts with John Cena one year in advance, and history will repeat itself there vs. Reigns. No title needed. This is a family war which doesn't need one.

The only "title" on the line will be 'Tribal Chief'. Who is the real head of this family? The Rock or Roman Reigns? Don't be surprised if WWE builds on 'Mania 40's foundations then presses pause until spring 2025. Hitting play on another money spinner in time for 41 sounds like some plan.
