10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 40's Press Conference

3. Drew McIntyre Beating Seth Rollins

Admittedly, Seth Rollins looked like a bit of an afterthought throughout the press event. He still doesn't have a locked-in opponent for WrestleMania, and the way things panned out on Thursday doesn't leave creative with too many options. They're gonna have to turn to one man.

Drew f'n McIntyre.

The Scot has been killing it as a heel himself, and he's fully deserving of a spot opposite Seth on the biggest weekender of the year. Drew's cruel trolling of an injured CM Punk has been sensational villain work, and he'd carry that momentum on if he was booked to crush Rollins in April and become World Heavyweight Champ.

If WWE does go with the aforementioned tag idea on night one, then they'd need to sneak this on somewhere come night two. It wouldn't main event, but needs must. Recent events have already made it obvious that the World Title is a secondary concern anyway.
