10 New Main Event Megastars WWE Are Secretly Building

4. Joe Hendry

NXT Joe Hendry
WWE

Officially, Joe Hendry is still contracted to TNA, but he's benefitting big time from the promotion's relationship with WWE. Fans who consume everything outside the major company bubble will already know a bit about what Hendry offers, but he's likely been a pleasant surprise to more casual viewers swept up in his musical mania on NXT.

The numbers on socials/YouTube don't lie - Hendry has charmed a bigger audience overnight.

Shawn Michaels is reportedly high on Joe, and that'll bleed over onto Triple H's desk. Once Hendry's TNA deal lapses, WWE will be waiting to strike, and it wouldn't be a shocker if he soared through NXT before landing on Raw or SmackDown. That'll put a knowing smile on the faces of those who remember him smashing it in ICW, WCPW/Defiant, Discovery, ROH and elsewhere.

Hendry has been a can't miss prospect for years now. He's always dripped charisma, but has worked diligently to level up in-ring too. All that graft is set to pay off for the Scot. Be happy for him. He's an organic pro wrestling success story.
