10 New SmackDown Matches Made Possible By WWE’s Superstar Shakeup

Shooting one another down on the microphone must be like slipping into an old pair of shoes for both Daniel Bryan and The Miz.

They're natural enemies who come from different wrestling backgrounds, and that only made it harder to watch as they traded insults on SmackDown in 2016. Back then, Bryan was retired and it never seemed possible that he would be back working as a full-timer in WWE again.

The Miz's scathing verbal attacks on Daniel's misfortune were so good a few years ago that it was borderline depressing that there'd be no pay-off. In 2018, it is right there waiting on WWE to snatch it, and they refuse to miss out on such an opportunity.

It all feels familiar, but there's a big difference between the feud two years ago and the one SmackDown's writers will fan the flames of now: today, Bryan can bite back at Miz physically and face him in the ring. If you don't get excited by the mere thought, then you might want to check that pulse.
