10 New Tag Teams WWE Needs To Create

7. Curt Hawkins & Heath Slater

It's surely only a matter of time before Heath Slater drifts away from Rhyno. Some had probably even forgotten they were an active team until they worked that Halloween-themed brawl with Gallows and Anderson on Raw recently. Slater and Rhyno are so far removed from their days as SmackDown Tag Champs that it's almost like it didn't happen.

Rhyno is the lovable comedic foil of the pair, or at least the more ridiculous, but Heath is younger and deserves to do something more substantial. The same could be said of Curt Hawkins, a man doing next-to-nothing on Raw. One brief run of promos could change that. If Hawkins reminds Heath of their overlooked match at Great Balls Of Fire and invites him to form a team, it'd be a start.

Slater and Hawkins look very similar. If they follow up on that similar style with matching ring attire, then WWE have a team overnight. Realistically, it's hard to envision either man having success on his own, so a team may be their best bet.
