NXT's Lio Rush made headlines recently for his dismissive comments on social media about Emma's WWE release. Afterwards, he was criticised by some industry veterans for his disrespectful ways. Could it be time for a more experienced worker to take young Lio under his wing and show him a better path?

On NXT, there are few more fitting men for that role than Kassius Ohno. He's been around the horn for well over 15 years now, so the storyline would be believable. It wouldn't take much planning either. Book Ohno to approach Rush, admonish him for being a brat, and then offer to make him a better man. At first, Lio would be responsive.

Inevitably, Rush would turn on his 'mentor' and feud with him, but not before the pair formed a decent tag-team. Again, they wouldn't need to get close to the Tag-Team Titles, because their story is simple: a veteran helping a comparative WWE rookie before that support gets thrown back in his face.
