10 New Tag Teams WWE Needs To Create

7. Austin Aries And Roderick Strong

To be fair, Austin Aries and Roderick Strong aren't a new tag team - they were part of the Generation Next stable in Ring of Honor and held the company's tag titles during the early 2000s. Now, though, both men are older, more skilled, and reunited in WWE.

Aries has been a revelation since coming to NXT (and especially since turning heel), and while Roderick Strong hasn't debuted yet, he'd fit in perfectly with his old tag team partner. Even though both men are on the diminutive side, they wrestle like a couple of bullies and would have no trouble going toe to toe with any tag team on any of the company's rosters.

They'd be great in NXT (maybe taking over the reigns as the top heel tandem if The Revival get called up), but after getting promoted to the main roster, they could be just as dominant and just as exciting. Few teams in wrestling could have the immediate impact of Aries and Strong.
