Did the road to WrestleMania 37 begin with the 2020 WWE Draft? It might not seem so, but it should have. WWE isn't exactly sticklers for the rules when it comes to keeping the rosters separate, but those sat around the creative table should have their top matches penned in for next year's Showcase of the Immortals. The top match on the SmackDown side? It simply has to be Roman Reigns vs. Big E. for the Universal Championship.

The draft saw New Day split up after six successful years (well, five and a half successful years, that first six months was rough), but anyone expecting them to stay apart forever is naive at best. Even so, the time has come for Big E to spread his meaty wings and become the singles superstar that he can be. It must start now, with a succession of wins leading up to a career performance at the 2021 Royal Rumble and a title shot at 'Mania.

Roman? He just needs to keep doing what he has been doing, namely being the handsome bad-ass he should have been from the start. Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is one of the best things about WWE today, and fans should expect to see Reigns dominate the Universal Championship picture until next spring at least.

In fact, Reigns should hold the title until 28 March 2021, at which point he should be dethroned by the next big superstar in WWE: Big E.
