4. Drew McIntyre Gets Fed Up

At this current moment in time, there's an argument to be made for Drew McIntyre being the most compelling character in all of wrestling.

However, it wasn't too long ago that the fed up 'Scottish Warrior' felt like one of the stalest characters in the business.

After failing to take down 'The Tribal Chief' at Clash at the Castle in 2022, Drew proceeded to float around the midcard. And while he would still form one-third of the five-star WrestleMania 39 epic over the Intercontinental Championship, it was clear that something was still missing from this much less captivating McIntyre.

Even when the big Scotsman made his shocking return at Money in the Bank 2023, his subsequent rivalry with Gunther over that aforementioned strap and uninspired attempt at an RK-Bro 2.0 with Matt Riddle did little to make Drew feel relevant.

A fantastic tweak in attitude finally transformed the former WWE Champion back into a figure folks genuinely gave a damn about after Jey Uso arrived on Raw, though. As McIntyre continued to refuse to accept the former Bloodline man had changed, he slowly morphed into a far more intense and fearsome force.

But more importantly, this grey Drew has now become something more valuable and cool than your average babyface or heel. He's become a complex character you find yourself rooting for one moment and praying they'll be superkicked out of the arena the next.
