10 Nightmares That Could Come True In Vince McMahon's New WWE

8. NXT 3.0!

3.0 > 2.0! Actually, in reality, it'd be worse.

Triple H didn't waste time once Vince was out the door in July 2022. He ditched the awful NXT 2.0 branding, returned the third show to respectability, and placed old pal Shawn Michaels in charge of operations. NXT hasn't been perfect, but it's a better product than it was during the 2.0 days.

The nightmare scenario here is that McMahon blitzes WWE's developmental wing yet again, and forces HBK to go down the same path he wanted 2.0 to follow. In other words, the weekly would become obsessed with throwing stuff at the wall to see what might stick; rather than, y'know, having a solid creative plan that rewards patience.

There would be the weirdest combo of horrified responses and giggles if WWE announced that "NXT 3.0" was coming soon. Christ only knows what Vince being back in the hot seat means for the coming NXT Europe project too.
