10 Noisiest Wrestling Managers Ever

2. Sensational Sherri

Sometimes, it almost seemed that if Sensational Sherri were to spontaneously burst into flames one night, she would scream in slightly less unholy distress than she did during some wrestling matches. That line feels wrong already, but let's roll with it. She was another one of those managers you heard from here and there, until things started going wrong... and when they did, was there ever a better ringside shrieker? Sherri had a smoky, intense speaking voice that turned into a throat-raking banshee call at ringside, and it really worked, if anything because it genuinely seemed as though it could wake up a coma victim. She was also an avid apron-slapper, making her a veritable one-woman combat zone whenever things started going south for her man. To top it all off, Sherri was a black belt at wailing in defeat and/or embarrassment. Truly, no other manager in wrestling history was capable of causing as much of a ringside disturbance unassisted. If Miss Elizabeth was the first woman of wrestling, Sherri Martel was undoubtedly the scream queen. It's a wonder she never legitimately passed out.
