10 Non-Wrestlers AEW Should Sign
7. POST Wrestling
Role: Media
I don't mind admitting this, but POST Wrestling's podcast is almost as good as ours. Hosted by John Pollock and Wai Ting, the pair provide comprehensive coverage of every WWE event - including NXT - but also know the indies inside out. Their insights are great and the way they present them is always entertaining.
Few wrestling presenters are as enjoyable outside of WhatCulture towers and, since we're not based in the US, AEW could put a massive marker down by going for them. Think about it: all of WWE's coverage is presented by clean-cut, factory assembled journalists. What if AEW dipped into the incredibly talented and inventive pool of wrestling fandom to help produce some of their supporting content?
Straight away you send a message to the fans that this is, in part, their promotion. Straight away you show would-be wrestling correspondents that working for the company isn't beyond their reach and that investing in them might go beyond merely fandom.
