10 NXT Rookies WWE Called Up Too Early
9. Bo Dallas
Used correctly, NXT is supposed to be the platform for talented wrestling apprentices to improve both their ability in the ring and their persona outside of it. So how come Bo Dallas appeared so bland and nondescript when he showed up on the main roster?
Part of this, you feel, is down simply to the fact that we the fans know too much. In this case, we knew that Bo Dallas is the younger brother of Bray Wyatt, and therefore expected of him larger-than-life character (or, at the very least, a spot in the 'Eater of Worlds' band of merry men).
It is only this year, after being paired up with Curtis Axel as part of The Miztourage, that Bo is at last beginning to prove that he is more than just a pretty face.
Problem is, playing the role of sycophantic fanboy to wrestling's A-listers doesn't tend to take you all the way to the main event. Like The Edgeheads, Luke Gallows and Damien Sandow before them, both Bo and Axel could find themselves on the scrapheap once the gimmick has run its race.
