Along with Raquel Diaz, Ivelisse was a prominent fixture in NXT's women's division upon the brand's revamping in 2012 and showed signs of potential in her various in-ring encounters with Paige and others. She very well could have won the 2011 season of Tough Enough had it not been for her injury, but she was willing to prove her worth during her stint in NXT.

Before she could solidify her spot atop the women's division, however, she was released from her contract for undisclosed reasons in August 2012. In a 2015 interview, she alluded to her heat with then-trainer Bill DeMott, who she reported for mistreatment, being a major reason why she was let go.

Despite that, she journeyed over to Lucha Underground in late 2014 and instantly found success alongside fellow Tough Enough contestant Matt Cross, aka Son of Havoc. She has truly come into her own as a performer and, if WWE were wise, they would bring her back into the fold once her contract runs out now that the women's division is better than it has ever been.

She would surely be a welcome addition to the roster.
