10 NXT Wrestlers Who Must Be Called Up For WWE Brand Split 2016

9. Nia Jax

The same shortage of women problem on the roster applies here with Nia Jax, as she also doesn’t seem quite ready yet for a main roster run. However, despite Bliss being a better in-ring worker than Jax, The Rock’s cousin is ranked higher on the list due to the Women’s Division in need of a monster heel.

Alexa would likely be another Summer Rae type if she made the jump right now, but you could see Vince getting excited over the possibilities of Nia destroying some of the undercard competitors before working her way up to a Sasha Banks type. It's a formula he was likely to have pushed Kharma with had that situation gone better for both parities.

Nia has been developing nicely in the ring, as we saw her battle Asuka in a pretty good match at the last Takeover special. In all honesty, Asuka should easily be the first three of the women ranked so far to make the jump, but right now, it’s kind of hard to imagine the boss really getting her character, and giving her a big push on one of the main brands.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
