6. Hideo Itami
A recent international veteran who came into NXT with much fanfare, Hideo Itami is another star who could utilize the Money in the Bank opportunity to reach the main event.
Not that he needs special favor but Itami was mentioned alongside Balor, Owens, and Zayn as a sort of new clique of Triple H's earlier this year.
Itami has already been given a special opportunity when he won a tournament before WrestleMania 31 that earned him the right to wrestle in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. He is an established star in the eastern hemisphere and WWE can use a platform like MITB to capitalize on that audience.
Due to a recent injury, Itami is currently sidelined and will not return for at least six months. He should be primed for a push upon return that might very well vault him to the main roster and onto a path toward a MITB ladder match.
