10 NXT Wrestlers Who Will Never Make It To WWE's Main Roster

4. Bull Dempsey

When your signature chant is €˜Bull, Bull, Bull€™ and fans respond with €˜s**t, s**t, s**t€™, you know you€™re in trouble. There was a time not too long ago when Bull would demolish jobbers one by one with relative ease, and fans actually got behind him to some degree. Unfortunately, not even his easy-to-follow catchphrase got over with the NXT crowd, and Bull began losing momentum. Now under normal circumstances, a wrestler changes their gimmick at such a point to something more eye-catching or otherwise interesting which, in essence, is what has happened to Dempsey. He€™s gaining some more attention€by becoming a slob. In what sounds like a discarded gimmick for €˜Big Hungry€™ Ryback, Bull Dempsey€™s limited move-set and less-than-positive fan response has been complimented by a gimmick that features the now out-of-shape Dempsey eating too much. This is in no way meant to be a main roster gimmick; it€™s clearly meant for the smaller NXT crowd just like Bo Dallas€™ fans turning their backs to him only works in the small venue. Despite his size and monster heel potential, Dempsey has become an over-eating slob with a limited in-ring move-set. There€™s no way such a character will ever appear on the main roster, not even as a comedy character. Because there are plenty of those on RAW already, and more aren€™t needed.
